Dear reader,Today, you are reading the final edition of the Los Gatos News.
It will be replaced beginning Friday, Sept. 14, by the Los Gatos Weekender, whose focus will be local arts, entertainment and leisure activities.
The new publication will highlight galleries and museums, shopping, music, wineries and food. In addition, it will pay attention to nearby activities and performances, including concerts at the Montalvo Arts Center and the Mountain Winery in Saratoga.
The Weekender will be delivered to homes and made available in racks around town every Friday. It will be published by the Los Gatos Weekly-Times, which like the Los Gatos News is part of MediaNews Group's Community Publishing Group.
